Introducing Our July Bistro Night Menu – A Celebration of Seasonal Flavour
We’re kicking off our July menu with a true Bistro Night favourite: beetroot-cured salmon, delicately infused with juniper and paired with gin-kissed cucumber, beetroot ketchup, horseradish cream, and Matt L’s irresistibly good homemade rye bread. A bold, fresh start to the evening.
For the main course, we’re showcasing the exceptional quality of Gawthorpe’s lamb once again. This month, we’re serving rump—a tender, boneless cut nestled between the leg and loin, offering the best of both. It’s accompanied by a courgette filled with rich lamb mince and finished with a subtly spiced béchamel. A deep, glossy jus ties everything together, alongside kalamata olives, wilted spinach, and crispy kale for texture and balance.
To finish, Matt returns to the spotlight with a Treacle Tart that’s already become a guest favourite—served with our dreamy honeycomb ice cream for the perfect sweet ending.
